protective powers. Inside the lid is inscribed a verse of the Ingoldsby
Legends, written by the Reverend Richard Barham in 1840, recounting these

sepia-enamelled, bas relief sculpted depiction of Da Vinci's "Last Supper"
mural. The underside of the casket lid is engraved with Leonardo's sketches,
