Seven Sins Tankard
Unique, heptagonal ( seven sided ) tankard, transforming to a circular
profile at the top, the base being encircled with the 'SALIGIA' mnemonic and
the three and a half sided handle, bearing each of the Latin words for the
sins: superbia ( pride ),
avaritia ( greed ), luxuria ( lust ), ira ( wrath ), gula ( gluttony ),
invidia ( envy ), acedia ( sloth ).

Freyja
Freyja, daughter of Njord, was the goddess of love, fertility, and beauty. She was blond, blue-eyed, and the most
beautiful of the goddesses. She was also a fierce warrior and well learned in magic.
She resided in the celestial realm of Folkvang, where it was her privilege to receive half of all the warriors slain
in battle. The god Odin received the other half at Valhalla in the halls of Asgard. Freyja would ride into battle on
in a chariot drawn by cats to claim the slain.
Freyja controlled the golden apples at the top of the world which were the secret of the immortality of the gods.
When she was captured by Fafnir and Fasolt the Jötung, and held hostage in demand for the Ring of the Nibelung, her
absence caused the gods to begin to grow old and die, and fade into legend. "The twilight of the gods".
